The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Executive Director to lead our 600+ member organization. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the areas of tourism promotion, leadership of member-based organizations, budgeting and financial management, event planning and execution, public speaking, and management of staff.

What is the Bullhead Area?

Bullhead City is a family-oriented, vibrant community for its residents and businesses seeking careful growth, environmental awareness, an affordable place to live and a high quality of life. In addition to these qualities of life, there are approximately two-million visitors per year that frequent Bullhead and its sister city the popular gaming community of Laughlin, Nevada.

Businesses should allow for and encourage telework where feasible.  Return to work in phases where possible. Operate with reduced occupancy and capacity based on the size of the business location with special attention to limiting areas where customers and employees can congregate. Follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, under all circumstances. Consider posting signs on how to stop the spread of COVID-19, properly wash hands, promote everyday protective measures, and properly wear a face covering.

Businesses should: monitor for sickness.


Social Distancing Guidance

Maintain six feet of separation between employees and customers.

Limit parties to 10 or fewer when feasible.


PPE Requirements

Businesses should provide necessary protective equipment.

Consider offering cloth face coverings to employees and visitors to wear.


Cleaning/Sanitation Procedures

Businesses should:
– Promote healthy hygiene practices.
– Opportunities for frequent hand washing.
– Conduct intensified cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation practices.


Vulnerable Population Accommodations

Consider assigning duties to vulnerable workers that minimize their contact with customers and other employees.

Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce

The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce has played a major role in this area since 1947.  Community and business leaders saw the importance of having an organization that could promote and represent the region many years ago.  Originally known as the Bullhead City-Davis Dam-Mohave Valley Chamber, the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 70th Anniversary.
