Hello Members, I just wanted to give you an update on a few things happening over the next month that I would hope you could participate in. Remember, your membership is only as valuable as you make it.

First, today 10/12/17, we have a mixer for a new business in town. Savon Bath Treats is having a get together at their shop at 1812 Highway 95 in Bullhead.

The mixer will start at 5:30 and will include giveaways, refreshments and a chance to mingle with other Chamber Members.

On the 19th, we will have a second mixer/ribbon cutting for Glam RN. Glam RN is a new business offering Cool Sculpting, Botox and other body shaping options. They are located at 2020 Silver Creek, Unit 113C and the mixer begins at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 10/14, the Bullhead City Fire Department will be hosting a Fire Prevention and Life Safety Fair at the Bullhead City Community Park (next to the Chamber) from 9-1. This family event will feature over 20 booths with life safety info, displays of emergency apparatus and a K-9 demonstration. Bring the kids!

Speaking of the Fire Department, there is a Q&A session at the Chamber on Monday, 10/16 from 4-5:30. This is your chance to get all your questions answered regarding the upcoming Bond.

On Tuesday 10/17, there is a joint ribbon cutting at the Re/Max Five Star Realty office (1744 Hwy 95) at 4:30 and the following Tuesday 10/24, there is a ribbon cutting at Our Sweet Studio (1512 Jill Way, St. 1 Fort Mohave) at noon.

Our October Lunch and Learn will be hosted by Tri-State Paralegal Services. It will be held in the Chamber Conference room from noon until 1 and will include lunch. The presentation will be on what a Paralegal does. Many things that an attorney does, a paralegal can do, saving you money.

And finally, Saturday the 21st we have two big things going on including the return of Kiwanis’ Cornfest to Gary Keith Park and that evening there is a wine tasting at Chaparral to benefit the Shop with a Cop program.

So…we have a busy next few weeks. I hope that all of you who are members take full advantage of your membership and try to attend as many of these as possible. Thanks again for your support, and I hope to see you out and about.
