The City of Bullhead City put on a very successful Economic Summit on December 5th at the Mohave Community College and the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO John C Pynakker was there along with many, many community leaders.
The summit was emceed by City Manager Toby Cotter and included presentations from Mayor Tom Brady, Planning Manager Johnny Loera, DOT Foods GM Rocky Vecera, City Human Services Director Jeff Tipton, Parks and Rec Superintendent Dave Heath, Fieldhouse GM Gary Baron, City Administrative Analyst Sheila Shutts and Senior VP of Arizona Commerce Authority Economic/Rural Development Keith Watkins.
Covering everything from the city’s growth to Sports Tourism to the options for Old Bullhead and plans for the Field house, the summit concluded right before lunch with a tour of the Anderson Auto Group Field House.
The Chamber President spoke on the progress the Chamber has made on group health insurance for its members as well as a collaboration they are working on to assist our area contractors in getting and retaining qualified workers.
