The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be co-sponsors of a couple of informational seminars for local business professionals/owners/decision makers.
First on February 7th, there is a "2018 Year of the Employer" seminar being held at the Mohave Community College, Rm 201 from 4-6 p.m. This is a chance to participate in the first Regional Employer Round-table discussion. It is by invite only, with all Chamber Member businesses invited. You will be among the first to preview the 2018 employer resources and services that Arizona@Work Innovative Workforce Solutions and the Workforce Connections On-Stop Career Stop of Nevada are providing.
Then, on February 28th, the Chamber of Commerce will be co-sponsoring and hosting the 1st Annual Employer Workshop. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce at 1251 Highway 95 in Bullhead City. Arizona State Subject Matter Experts will present on a variety of topics important to businesses including Apprenticeships, Re-Entry, Veteran’s Service, Work Readiness, Work Opportunity Tax Credits and others. The presentation will be put on by professional and knowledgeable experts and is co-sponsored by Arizona@Work and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona.
Having worked in conjunction with these incredible organizations over the past few months, I can tell you that these two seminars should prove to be invaluable to business owners and managers. Please make an attempt to attend at least one of these and learn what’s available for you to move your business forward in 2018.
