The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up with the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse to co-sponsor the Family Fun Festival put on by the The Anderson Auto Group on July 10th. The main objective for the event was to be able to provide the families of our community a day of fun that was affordable, safe and air-conditioned. With over 2,000 attendees, the community’s response was positive and showed their interest in seeing the new Fieldhouse.

While working the event, we spoke with numerous children of all ages, who expressed how much they were enjoying themselves. Surprise appearances were made by Scoopie, the Mascot from Culver’s. Community clubs such as the Kiwanis Club of the Colorado River, Sunrise Rotary, and Mohave High School’s Student Council volunteered in the event while interacting with the children. The event included major sponsors Living Waters Hospice and Walmart. Living Waters Hospice’s Outreach Coordinator, Maria Pynakker said: "The gift of seeing kids enjoying their time with their parents warmed my heart."

The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce wants to thank everyone who came out in support of such an amazing event. Thank you to all of our sponsors, who donated time, raffle baskets, and much more! We look forward to the next event.
