First of all, I wanted to thank all of our members for their continued support and everlasting loyalty. We are so grateful to have every single one of you.
One of the benefits of being a chamber member is being connected to a lot of people in the business community. We host mixer events, ribbon cuttings and even attend City ribbon cuttings and mixer events. This opportunity is also made available to our chamber members. For example, we have a ribbon cutting scheduled for the new Fort Mohave Walmart on July 19th at 7am, attending these events gives you the chance to represent your company at the opening, maybe hand your card out a few times and meet some new people. We make sure our members are well aware of the events we have coming up, in our Weekly Newsletter and our website calendar.

– Fort Mohave Walmart – Ribbon Cutting, Friday, July 19th at 7am. 5210 Highway 95, Fort Mohave.
– New Desert Star Academy – Morning Mixer, Tuesday August 1st at 8am. This is the new school across the street from 5744 Highway 95, Fort Mohave.
– Fort Mohave Walk-In Care – Ribbon Cutting, Friday August 4th at 8:30am. 5263 Highway 95, Fort Mohave (across the street from Valley View).

Also, the New Teachers Breakfast is July 24th at 7:30 am. in the 600 BLDG at Mohave Community College. They are still looking for donations to go in the teachers goodie bags! We are expecting about 100 new teachers this year. We have been receiving a lot of valuable goodies from our members and we would like to thank those who have already donated, but we need more. These goodie bags are a great way to get your business’ name out there. Most of the new teachers do not know anything about Bullhead City, so your contribution will help you and help them! Please have any donations in to the Chamber by July 18th.
